Annex 30 – Retrofit heat pumps for buildings – Status report 2005-news-105

May. 18, 2006 – It is well known, that the market potential for heat pumps for retrofitting existing buildings is much greater than that for the supply of heat pumps for new buildings. However, in the majority of IEA HPP member countries, the heat pump market for existing buildings today is small compared with the market for heat pumps for new buildings.

Annex 30 is therefore intended to help to overcome the technical and market barriers in this interesting market sector.
