System Working Principle & Water Tower Connection
Operation Description
The KWTA‑110 forms a closed circulating water loop with external cooling tower, water pump, filter and expansion tank.
- Cooling Mode: The unit absorbs heat from indoor air and releases heat to the circulating water. Heat is then dissipated to ambient air through the cooling tower.
- Heating Mode: The unit extracts heat from the circulating water loop and transfers it to indoor air for space heating.
System Installation Requirements
- Install a 40‑mesh or finer water filter at unit water‑inlet pipe.
- Keep actual water flow within ±10 % of nominal value 2.3 m³/h.
- Install vent valve at highest piping point, drain plug at lowest point.
System Notes
- Water quality needs regular inspection to prevent scaling inside heat exchanger.
- Insulate all water pipes to avoid condensation and heat loss.
- Install bypass piping for maintenance without shutdown of the whole system.
- Check pump pressure and water flow rate periodically during routine maintenance.
