In most European good insulation new house with underfloor heating system, you can count the required heat pump capacity with 50~90W/M2. If the house is a bit old and heated by Radiators, you can count the required heat pump capacity with 80~120W/M2.
For comfort you should keep your room heated to at least 20 degree.
Notes
- The output you need is the rated capacity of the heatpump, not the maximum capacity.
- This figure is the capacity needed to maintain a temperature difference of about 12 degree between indoors and outdoors.
- In colder climates, you may need a higher capacity.
