Built to Pass Strict UL Testing
Kolant EVI split heat pumps pass the strict requirements of UL standards and hold UL certification for the Canadian and USA markets. Each unit is subjected to harsh validation — up to 70°C outlet water, 21 bar water pressure, and other severe tests, with the compressor kept running for 72 hours of continuous operation.

All-in-One Solution for Super Cold Climates
A complete solution for super cold area winter heating, summer cooling, and domestic hot water — designed to replace traditional boilers, oil burners, and air conditioners for domestic and commercial use.
Strong Heating in Super Cold Ambient Temperatures
Kolant’s super cold ambient heating technology uses an EVI-compressor, a high-efficiency compressor, and an EEV (electronic expansion valve) to form a high-efficiency vapor-injection (jet) system. This increases compressor suction capacity at ultra-low air temperatures and raises overall system heating efficiency and performance, allowing the heat pump to keep heating normally without electric heater assistance.

A+++ Energy Efficiency (R32, SCOP 4.47)
The Kolant R32 refrigerant heat pump carries an A+++ energy class for super-high efficiency. Ecodesign is the basis for energy labelling and ecodesign requirements covering heat pumps and other energy-using appliances. The Kolant split-type R32 heat pump reaches a SCOP of 4.47. Kolant uses two electronic expansion valves — one dedicated EEV controls the EVI function, dramatically improving performance in super cold weather.
What Are the Benefits of Kolant EVI Heating Technology?
There is no doubt that air source heat pumps deliver strong economic and environmental benefits when used properly. However, most air source heat pumps work with very poor efficiency — or cannot work at all — when the ambient temperature drops below -10°C.
EVI (Enhanced Vapor Injection) heating technology is an innovation in the compressor and refrigerant cycle. It extends a heat pump’s permitted operating range to much lower air temperatures and greatly improves heating performance in low-ambient conditions.

Split Design for Better Antifreeze Protection
The split heat pump separates the outdoor unit from the indoor hydraulic unit, giving more flexible indoor installation. The entire water system sits in the indoor unit, greatly improving antifreeze protection. When the indoor unit is installed in a well-insulated space (always > 0°C), no glycol is required.

In a split heat pump the water system is indoors, so the piping will not freeze in cold winter. In a monoblock heat pump part of the water system is outdoors and can freeze easily without glycol.
Performance Highlights at Low Ambient Temperatures
- Reliable operation down to -30°C ambient air temperature
- Much higher water temperature during low ambient conditions
- Heating capacity up to 40% higher than standard heat pumps
- COP 10%–20% higher during low ambient temperatures
- International branded EVI DC inverter compressor
- No electricity leakage, no refrigerant leakage
- Heating, cooling, and DHW in extremely low temperatures
Smart WiFi Cloud Control

With innovative technology, Kolant heat pumps support WiFi cloud control, letting authorized users operate the unit anytime, anywhere from a mobile phone. Imagine turning on your heat pump on your way home and stepping into comfort the moment you arrive. The WiFi control also sends error codes to assist after-sales service.
Modbus Protocol Available
Beyond the wired controller and WiFi function, Kolant heat pumps include a built-in Modbus protocol that controls all heat pump functions and reads parameters — so the unit can be managed by a computer or any automatic control system. This is especially useful for central or customized control systems.

Reliable and Durable Components
All key components of Kolant EVI heat pumps come from world-famous brands to ensure high reliability and durability within the permitted operating range.
