Gli impianti che utilizzano il refrigerante naturale CO<sub>2<\/sub> non sarebbero interessati dal regolamento presentato al pubblico questa settimana.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"parastd\">La bozza di regolamento, discussa nel corso di tre seminari pubblici organizzati dal California Air Resources Board (CARB), riguarderebbe i grandi impianti che utilizzano CFC, HCFC o HFC nei propri sistemi di climatizzazione e refrigerazione. Magazzini, industrie di trasformazione alimentare, supermercati, edifici adibiti a uffici, ospedali o alberghi sarebbero quindi tenuti a registrarsi presso il CARB entro gennaio 2010 per conformarsi a una serie di requisiti legali volti a ridurre le emissioni di refrigeranti ad alto potenziale di riscaldamento globale. Attraverso prove di tenuta e riparazioni, migliori pratiche di installazione e manutenzione, restrizioni alla vendita, smaltimento sicuro e rendicontazione da parte di impianti, recuperatori di refrigeranti, distributori e grossisti, il CARB garantirebbe che l\u2019uso dei gas fluorurati sia monitorato e ridotto nella misura massima possibile. <\/p>\n<p class=\"parastd\">\n<p class=\"parastd\">Il CARB pubblicher\u00e0 la sua relazione finale nel dicembre 2008.
