Die station\u00e4re Leistung einer elektrischen Kompressionsw\u00e4rmepumpe bei bestimmten Temperaturbedingungen wird als Leistungszahl (COP) bezeichnet. Sie ist definiert als das Verh\u00e4ltnis zwischen der von der W\u00e4rmepumpe gelieferten W\u00e4rme und dem dem Kompressor zugef\u00fchrten Strom. <p><br><p>Bei motorisch und thermisch angetriebenen W\u00e4rmepumpen wird die Leistung durch die Prim\u00e4renergiekennzahl (KEK) angegeben. Die gelieferte Energie ist dann der h\u00f6here Heizwert (HHV) des zugef\u00fchrten Brennstoffs. F\u00fcr elektrisch angetriebene W\u00e4rmepumpen kann die Leistungszahl auch durch Multiplikation der Leistungszahl mit dem Wirkungsgrad der Stromerzeugung bestimmt werden. <p><br>Die Leistungszahl (COP) einer W\u00e4rmepumpe steht in engem Zusammenhang mit dem Temperaturhub, d. h. der Differenz zwischen der Temperatur der W\u00e4rmequelle und der Ausgangstemperatur der W\u00e4rmepumpe.
